As the Ukrainian Army liberates towns and villages in the Kyiv region, they are encountering horrific scenes of mass murder with dead bodies lying in the streets.

 Russian occupation forces have executed hundreds of civilians. Many victims have been found with their hands bound.

Imagine driving through the outskirts of a European capital and having to be cautious not of potholes, but dead innocent people laying every few meters. That’s Bucha right now. 

Mass graves.
City bombings.
Civilian executions by death squads.
Widespread marauding by combatants.
Millions of refugees of war.
Cities ceasing to exist as human settlements. 
It’s Europe and the year is 2022.

A Cowards war on a Sovereign State by a Cowardly Dictator and a Cowards Army only good for killing civilians and attacking Hospitals, Homes, Theaters and Schools. The mass murder of Ukrainian civilians in Kyiv’s suburbs underscores that Ukraine is fighting for its survival — it also shows the awful, obvious truth about Russia’s true intentions in Ukraine.

Just how many people they have executed in Mariupol and all those cities and towns Russia razed to the ground? One giant insane bloodbath, WWII-scale, for the sake of sick fantasies of “denazification” leaving thousands of dead bodies behind.

 This in a country with a Jewish President whose Grandfather Seymon fought in the Red Army from Stalingrad to Berlin and all the rest of his family perished in The Shoah.

 A country where 3.9 M people (13% of the population) died in Stalin's Terror Famine and 8 M people were killed by the Nazis in WWII.  

Did the world actually mean "Never Again" when it said "Never Again?"

A young German soldier (pictured center left, without helmet) refuses to participate in the execution of 16 Yugoslav civilians.  He positioned himself within the group and was executed for disobeying his NCO. He choose death instead of killing hopeless civilians. His name was Josef Schulz. Josef Schulz, also spelled Joseph Schultz (Serbian: Jozef Šulc), was a German soldier of the 714th Infantry Division stationed in the Balkans, Serbia during World War II. He died in 1941, allegedly executed after refusing to take part in a partisan execution. The German High Command recorded him as killed in action. The plot of the Yugoslav short movie Joseph Schultz (1973) is based on the incident. Based on a Bundesarchiv study, the incident was dismissed as a legend by scholars in the 1990s. Josef Schulz was born in 1909[citation needed] and lived in Barmen, Wuppertal, Germany. During World War II, he served as a corporal in the 714th Infantry Division of the Wehrmacht. Pictures taken during the Battle for Hill 192 in Normandy - June/July 1944 Note that some of these pictures were taken in or near Saint-Georges-d'Elle Hill 192 was located between the cities of Saint-Lô and Bayeux in Normandy. The Battle was fought between elements of the 2nd US Infantry Division and the 16,000 strong 3rd German Fallschirmjäger (Parachute) Division, commanded by Generalleutnant Richard Schimf. Hill 192 gave the defending German forces good observation for miles in every direction. It needed to be taken in order for US General Omar Bradley to drive behind the German left flank and break out of Normandy; the attack that would become Operation Cobra. The terrain around Hill 192 also provided the German defenders excellent cover & concealment. US Lt. General Joseph Lawton Collins, found it worse country to fight in than Guadalcanal. The Allied forces were victorious, with the Polish II Corps and supporting Allied units capturing the city on 21 April. In March 1945 the Allies were preparing a new offensive, Operation Buckland, in Northern Italy. The capture of Bologna, an important regional communication hub, was set as a part of that offensive. The Allied forces tasked with this were composed of the US 5th Army (II Corps, South African 6th Armoured Division) and the British 8th Army (which for that part of the theatre, was composed of the V Corps and the Polish II Corps). James Smith - a gang related stabbing. On the night of Friday the 16th of November 1951, 500 people attended a dance that was being held at the Ancient Order of Hibernian’s Hall in Royston Road, Glasgow.  Among the dancers were Mary Malone and her 35 year old husband, Martin Joseph Malone.   Their friend William Louden was also present.  Martin noticed that William had got into an altercation with a group of youths and went over to help him.  One of the lads stabbed him, having already stabbed William, who had been talking to Elizabeth Clark when the youth came up from behind and tapped him on the shoulder with one hand before stabbing him with the knife in his other hand.  William survived the attack but unfortunately Martin didn’t. William and Elizabeth and others were able to give the police eye witness accounts which led to the arrest of 21 year old James Smith the following day. HISTORY FOR YOU Former Pampanga Governor and Congressman Jose B. Lingad became the first opposition politician killed during the martial law regime. A World War II veteran, guerilla fighter and local politician, Lingad already had a taste of Pampanga politics before the war as a councilor in his hometown in Lubao, Pampanga..  With the inauguration of the Third Republic, he joined the Liberal Party under President Manuel Roxas  and ran for governor of Pampanga.  He became known as a fierce fighter against the Huks during the post-war Huk Rebellion.  (Some newspapermen considered him a warlord with the private army he had use to fight the rebels). Lingad's political career was derailed after he was implicated in the Maliwalu Massacre in 1951.  He was eventually cleared of responsibility of the killings but he lost in his bid for reelection.  He was appointed as an official in various government positions by his Lubao townmate, President Diosdado Macapagal bef...

March 9, 1945: On the northern side of the western front, Field Marshal Montgomery issues instructions for crossing the Rhine north of the Ruhr.  Germans abandon their Wesel bridgehead across the Rhine overnight, and blow the last remaining bridge. Canadian 1st Army mops up around Xanten and captures Veen. US 9th Army continues attacking toward Wesel on its left flank - capturing Ossenberg, Borth, and Wallach - and regrouping for the assault across the Rhine.  Farther south, US 1st Army mops up around Bonn and works to expand the bridgehead across the Rhine at Remagen, where Erpel is captured. Bonn and Godesberg are captured by units of US 1st Army. Even farther south, toward Koblenz, US 3rd Army units reach the Rhine at Andernach, clearing the town. The German raiding force from the Channel Islands arrives aboard minesweepers, attacks Granville, destroys installations, and releases 67 POWs. In August 1961, a daring East German soldier defied orders to aid a young boy's escape across the newly built Berlin Wall.

In August 1961, a daring East German soldier defied orders to aid a young boy's escape across the newly built Berlin Wall.  The picture capturing this act likely dates back to when the wall was first erected. The boy was caught on the wrong side, separated from his parents who were in West Berlin visiting relatives. Despite the stern commands of the East German government prohibiting passage, the soldier chose to help the boy cross the barbed wire to rejoin his family.  As this moment was captured, his superior reportedly noticed him, leading to his removal from the unit. His fate remains unknown. Speculation ranges from him possibly being reassigned away from the wall if fortunate, to serving a prison sentence for insubordination if not.  It is unlikely he was executed, as capital punishment was generally reserved for those guilty of high treason.

April 5, 1945: On the western front, 18 US Divisions began to clear the Ruhr pocket in Germany.  US 1st Army hammers the Ruhr pocket and continues pushing east around Warburg and Kassel while US 9th Army attacks across the Weser River at Hamelin and continues assaulting Ruhr pocket. Patton’s US 3rd Army captures Muhlhausen and Meiningen while US 7th Army captures Gemuenden, pushes toward Schweinfurt, and attacks into Heilbronn. British 2nd Army captures Lingen and Osnabruck, and Canadian 1st Army crosses Twenthe canal and captures Almelo. French 1st Army begins attacking toward Pforzheim. Serving in the Medical Detachment of the 48th Armored Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division in Alemert, Germany, Corporal Thomas J. Kelly repeatedly exposes himself to hostile fire in order to drag wounded men to safety. For these actions, he is awarded the Medal of Honor seven months later, on November 1, 1945. Today 104 years ago, on June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed, officially ending Germany's participation in the First World War. On November 11, 1918, the Germans had effectively surrendered to the Allies in the Armistice of Compiègne, ending over 4 years of war on the Western Front. On January 18, 1919 the Allies began their Paris Peace Conference in the Versailles palace to draft the peace terms for post-war Europe, the same place the Germans had forced the French to sign the 1871 Treaty of Versailles, ending the Franco-Prussian War.
